As promised in July, we published the first quarterly update to Accountability Indicators for FY19 in October. This change both helps us work more efficiently and allows us to show longer trends to make the charts more meaningful. This is part of a series of improvements we are actively working on.
Accountability Indicators is a dynamic and interactive web page that helps you view our progress towards our strategic objectives by exploring various dimensions of our activities.
One of the most important Accountability Indicators we provide is a description of our progress on projects to develop new services for the community. Looking through Accountability Indicators, you'll see charts showing our plans for important and high-profile projects, including:
- Domain Abuse Activity Reporting
- Engagement and Community Metrics
- gTLD Marketplace Health Index
- Internet Technology Health Indicators
- Open Data
As these projects are completed, the charts tracking their progress on Accountability Indicators will be replaced by a chart for a delivered service. Where that doesn't make sense we'll include links to the new service with an explanation of what was developed.
Upcoming Next Steps
The community, Board, and organization have been working on developing a new strategic plan for FY21-25. As the strategic plan approaches completion we are starting to develop the FY21-25 Operating and Financial Plan. The new Five-Year Strategic, Operating, and Financial Plans will define the structure of the Accountability Indicators starting in FY21.
The feedback you provide on Accountability Indicators is essential to helping us improve the services we provide, as well as the indicators we report on. Please look through the indicators and let us know what you think by clicking the feedback link at the top of each page.
