A Memorandum of Understanding was inked by ICANN and KISA (Korea Internet and Security Agency) at the ICANN48 Buenos Aires Meeting in November last year, to serve the purpose of a collaborative boost to engagement efforts in the region and to implement a language localization pilot project.

On the 2nd January 2014, the ICANN Seoul Office welcomed 2 staff members of KISA:

The ICANN Seoul Office, an Engagement Centre that is part of the ICANN Asia Pacific Hub, is committed working hand in hand with KISA to serve the region that has the highest number of Internet users in the world.
