ICANN76 Community Childcare Grants Pilot Program Application Now Open

Today, Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is opening the application round for its Community Childcare Grants Pilot Program for ICANN76 in Cancún, Mexico. The program facilitates in-person participation of community members with children 12 years or younger at ICANN Public Meetings and eligible ICANN events. It premiered at ICANN66 in Montréal, Canada, but has been on hold due to the global pandemic.

Grants of up to $750 per family are available for ICANN Public Meeting participants who meet the criteria, are bringing children, and will incur expenses associated with babysitting and/or local childcare services. There will be no on-site meeting or conference-sponsored childcare services during ICANN76.

The deadline to apply for the ICANN76 grant is Friday, 13 January 2023 at 23:59 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The application is available here.
