As a Professor at University of Indonesia, I support the publication of the proposed Reference Label Generation Rules (LGRs) for the Javanese script and the updated Arabic script Reference LGR supporting the Pegon writing system in Indonesia. These efforts are important for the development of Indonesia’s linguistic, cultural, and educational while enabling safer and more consistent use of local writing in Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs). I appreciate the work of ICANN, the relevant Generation Panels, and language experts in balancing linguistic accuracy, usability, security, and DNS stability. -- Prof. Yudho Giri Sucahyo, Ph.D (Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia).
