Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement

ICANN organization is posting proposed Amendment No. 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement between ICANN and VeriSign, Inc. (Verisign) for public comment. Verisign is the registry operator of the .COM top-level domain.

ICANN org and Verisign have reached preliminary agreement on an amendment to the .COM Registry Agreement, as well as a framework for working together on additional initiatives related to enhancing the security, stability and resiliency of the Domain Name System in the form of a proposed binding Letter of Intent between the two organizations.
