The next Registration Operations Workshop, the fourth of these events, will take place just before IETF-95 on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the Hilton Hotel in Buenos Aires. The Registration Operations Workshop series is now being co-sponsored by Verisign and ICANN and organized by Viagenie, and we’re looking forward to an engaging set of talks, panel discussions, and conversations with individuals involved with the operation of domain name registrations systems.

This Registration Operations Workshop will be exploring the recently published proposal for a RDAP Operational Profile for gTLD Registries and Registrars, examining EPP extensions, and discussing experiences as registries and registrars deploy systems used to register domain names. There is still some space on the agenda, so we encourage you to submit a proposal to speak. The deadline to submit proposals is March 8, 2016. Please email an abstract of no more than 750 characters describing your proposal to row@viagenie.ca for the Program Committee to consider. We will accommodate as many proposals as possible during the four-hour workshop.

While there is no fee to attend the Registration Operations Workshop, we encourage anyone interested to register so that we can appropriately size the room and provide refreshments. Registration opens today, 2 March, 2016 and we look forward to seeing you in Buenos Aires!
