ICANN’s New Washington D.C. Office is Now Open

Fadi Chehadé and Steve Crocker officially opened the new Washington DC office located at 801 17th Street Northwest during a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 13. This office serves as ICANN’s North American Engagement Center.

Situated in the heart of the city, the new office shares the design of the Los Angeles operational hub. It is an open and inviting space that will serve our needs for years to come. The office layout and prime location enhance our ability to engage with ICANN’s regional stakeholders – the businesses, technical community, government, academia, end users, and everyone else that, together, form the ICANN community.

As we open the new North American Engagement Center, David Olive, Vice President of Policy Development, and Rodrigo de le Parra, Vice President for Stakeholder Engagement in Latin America and the Caribbean, leave D.C. for Istanbul and Mexico City, respectively. We will miss their presence here but we will continue to work closely with them and all of our colleagues around the world.

We look forward to welcoming the ICANN community to our office. We will host a welcoming reception in the fall and hope that many of you will be able to join us.
