The ICANN Grant Program Team is pleased to confirm the successful completion of the first reporting period for the program's inaugural cycle. As highlighted in my recent blog update, the completion of the first interim reporting period marks a significant milestone and reflects the program's commitment to accountability, learning, and effective cross-functional collaboration within the ICANN organization.

This reporting period began in October 2025 and concluded in February 2026. We invite you to visit the ICANN Grant Program webpage to read the First Interim Progress Reporting Period Summary, which provides details on review procedures, grant awards, and an assessment of progress to date.

While many projects are in the early stages of implementation, initial performance data aligns with program expectations. The approval of reports and subsequent disbursements further demonstrate confidence in grantee implementation and continued progress across funded projects.

As this first grant cycle moves into the next reporting phase, the Grant Program Team remains committed to supporting grantees and capturing lessons learned. Grantees continue the development of project deliverables and commitment to grant-funded activities. The progress achieved to date provides a strong foundation for the work ahead.

We appreciate the continued interest in the ICANN Grant Program and look forward to sharing future updates.
