ICANN Request for Quotation (RFQ): Server Refresh 2022

15 March 2022

Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) organization issued a request for quotation (RFQ) to identify one or more providers to facilitate the sourcing and pre-configuration tasks for servers for its global network infrastructure.

At appropriate intervals commensurate with the expected longevity of hardware, ICANN's Domain Name System (DNS) engineering function refreshes its infrastructure components to ensure that equipment can support ICANN production services. The new servers are intended to replace or augment existing systems and services provided by the ICANN DNS engineering function.

For a complete overview of this RFQ, including the timeline, please click here.

Email indications of interest to: Servers2022-RFQ@icann.org.

Please submit proposals electronically using ICANN's sourcing tool.

Participants who have already used the sourcing tool may use the same credentials and do not need to re-request access. New participants may request access to this tool via the same email noted above.

The deadline for submissions is 23:59 UTC on 12 April 2022.

About ICANN

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
