ICANN Extends Deadline for NextGen@ICANN82 Program Applications

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is pleased to announce an extension of the application deadline for the NextGen@ICANN program for the ICANN82 Public Meeting. Prospective applicants now have until 11 October 2024 to submit their applications.

This program invites regional university students passionate about the future of the Internet to participate in the ICANN82 Community Forum. ICANN82 is set to take place in Seattle from 8 to 13 March 2025. Should the event transition to a virtual format, all NextGen@ICANN activities will be conducted online.

If you are an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student between the ages of 18 to 30 and living and studying in the North America region, you may be eligible for the NextGen@ICANN program.

The application period for the NextGen@ICANN program will close on 11 October 2024, with selected candidates to be announced on 10 December 2024 via the ICANN website.
