As the ICANN community prepares for a new five-year strategic operating cycle, these comments look to confirm expectations and aspirations that the GAC has for certain programs and initiatives that will support the continued relevance, transparency and accountability of the mutistakeholder model and the contributions that governments make to that ecosystem.

The RrSG appreciate the opportunity to comment on the ICANN FY26–30 Operating & Financial Plan, and the ICANN/IANA FY26 Op Plans & Budgets. We note that some of the areas we have comments on are also being considered in the “How We Meet” process underway at this time. The RrSG comments on costs and potential cost reduction relating to public meetings, constituent travel, and salary transparency.
