Summary of Submission

We, the volunteers from the private sector who are working to solve various problems on the Internet for its continuous and healthy growth, know that it is difficult to solve problems on the internet in a specific industry alone. From the perspective that all companies involved in the Internet should contribute their wisdom and efforts to solve the problems, rather than leaving them to other levels, we believe that the revision of the RAA and RA is very important to encourage registries and registrars, which play an important role in the use of the Internet, to fulfill their responsibilities.

While we do not want to place an undue burden solely on domain name operators, the registration data of the domain name is one of few pieces of information that can identify the individual user on the Internet, and we believe that ICANN's role is very important, not only in security issues, but also in resolving issues related to copyright infringement on the Internet.

The other issue in which we believe that ICANN could play an important role is the piracy on the internet. We do not take the issue of freedom of expression lightly, especially when it comes to excessive restrictions. We are confident that we can distinguish between domain-related solutions that are more effective with fewer side effects and those that are not. As such, we believe that domain-related solutions are appropriate for the current copyright infringement situation, and we look forward to further discussion at ICANN.
