Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) organization (org) issued a request for proposal (RFP) to identify a supplier to assemble and manage one or more Support Applicant Review Panel(s) (SARP(s)) to conduct evaluations of Applicant Support Program (ASP) applications for the New Generic Top-level Domain (gTLD) Program: Next Round.
The ASP aims to serve the global public interest by ensuring worldwide accessibility to, and competition within, the New gTLD Program.
ICANN seeks to engage experienced and competent suppliers who can carry out a fair, efficient, consistent, and reliable process to assess ASP applicants in advance of the New gTLD Program: Next Round, anticipated to open in Q2 2026. The panelists' goal will be to identify ASP applicants that meet the criteria of the program. The supplier may choose to conduct the evaluation with in-house expertise, if available, or assemble and manage an outsourced panel of qualified evaluation experts, in line with ASP evaluation criteria and indicators.
This is a public RFP, which means that any prospective supplier may submit a proposal.
