Summary of Submission

Thank you for the opportunity to review the proposed dates for 2029–2033. While planning appreciate the advanced planning, I would like to raise concerns regarding potential conflicts with major cultural and religious observances that may impact global participation

ICANN 94 and 106 is likely to overlap or fall immediately to Ramadan, this may affect the participation of members of the Muslim community. Also ICANN105 and 108 is closely or may overlap Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, which is a mayor public holiday in the Asia-Pacific region, this may hinder the participation of persons of these region even if the events are not hosted there.

I Recommendation ICANN org to reconsider the date for these specific events to ensure an inclusive meeting. ICANN can also ensure that the meeting locations selected for these events are logistically easier for affected participants to reach if moving the dates is impossible.
