The GNSO Council largely supports the FY23 draft PTI/IANA as presented. The GNSO Council does seek a response from the PTI on a few questions as presented in the attached PDF. Thank you for your consideration.
The BC appreciates the effort that has gone into developing the PTI and IANA draft budgets for FY23 and for its timely release of this information in accordance with PTI Bylaws at least nine months prior to the commencement of the fiscal year.
In our attached submission, we explain several comments and pose questions on the draft documents.

ICANN Policy Staff in support of the At-Large Community
- The FY23 budget is fiscally prudent in that it is forecast to be in line with the prior year (FY22). This prudence is welcomed by the RySG.
- We would welcome more detail regarding the seemingly conflicting priorities of PTI’s contractual deliverables and SLAs and other tasks and expectations, and the profile of a potential additional hire expected to solve this.
