Registry operators are the organizations that maintain the master database of all domain names registered under a particular generic top-level domain (gTLD).

Any changes to the ICANN-approved data escrow agreement template or an executed Registry Data Escrow Agreement should be emailed to [email protected] by the Data Escrow Agent (DEA) for ICANN org's review. The DEA should email the following documents:

  • Cover letter describing the requested changes
  • A redlined version of the Registry Data Escrow Agreement illustrating the proposed changes.
  • A clean version of the proposed Registry Data Escrow Agreement
