As part of our commitment to ever-greater outreach, ICANN's 2015 Nominating Committee (NomCom) has members attending various Internet-related events this year.
As the 2015 NomCom Chair, I will be attending the NamesCon conference at the Tropicana hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA) from January 10-14. If you are interested in applying for one of the ICANN leadership positions the NomCom is selecting this year* or would like to have more information about the process, please do come and let's have a chat. *As a reminder, the 2015 NomCom will select individuals to fill the following ICANN leadership positions:
- Three members of the Board of Directors – 3 year terms
- Three members of the At Large Advisory Committee (ALAC), one each from the Africa, Asia/Australia/Pacific Islands and Latin America/Caribbean Islands regions – 2 year terms
- Two members of the Council of the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) – 2 year term
- One member of the Council of the Country-Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO) – 3 year term
