Meeting Schedule for ICANN67 Virtual Community Forum Now Available

28 February 2020

LOS ANGELES – 28 February 2020 – The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has released the schedule for ICANN67, its first virtual Public Meeting. ICANN67 was initially planned to take place in Cancún, Mexico, but has been transitioned to a virtual meeting in response to the global outbreak of COVID-19. The dates have not changed: The ICANN67 Virtual Community Forum will take place from 7 to 12 March 2020.

A cross-functional team from ICANN collaborated with community groups to develop this schedule, which includes the sessions necessary to advance the community's policy and technical work. Sessions that were not included in the schedule will be addressed in webinars and calls after ICANN67 concludes. Please subscribe to news and alerts from ICANN to make sure you receive the latest information.

Details, including the schedule and information about remote participation tools, can be found here. For additional information about the new format, please consult the Frequently Asked Questions page.

About ICANN

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a not-for-profit public-benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
