Public Comment is a vital part of our multistakeholder model. It provides a mechanism for stakeholders to have their opinions and recommendations formally and publicly documented. It is an opportunity for the ICANN community to effect change and improve policies and operations.

It is imperative that ICANN must take action to address concerns regarding the RZERC's ability to fulfill its important role in the Internet governance ecosystem. To do this, ICANN could provide additional staff (or volunteers can be recruited especially on specific projects when more hands are needed) and funding (this needs a bit of flexibility so as to be able to get the right funding needed at specific time), access to necessary information from various sources (however, this must be defined), and support from ICANN staff. I believe this can serve as solutions to some of the concerns faced by RZERC.
