Yesterday Vanda received the prize as one of “The Most Influent Women in Brazil” ( in ICT) in its 2007 version. The prize, that recognizes the most influent women in all relevant economic area in the country, is sponsored by Gazeta Mercantil – the traditional newspaper on finance and business here, and involves the business personnel of each relevant area. Vanda, of course, was recognized for her leadership ICT. The prize used to be sponsored by Fortune Magazine + Gazeta Mercantil. When Fortune left Brazil, a couple years ago, Gazeta Mercantil decided to follow with the tradition. Here a picture of the gala night's prize (winners with a small sculpture at hands).
