Public Comment is a vital part of our multistakeholder model. It provides a mechanism for stakeholders to have their opinions and recommendations formally and publicly documented. It is an opportunity for the ICANN community to effect change and improve policies and operations.

RSSAC Review – Independent Consultant's Final Report

Explanation: The consultants selected to carry out the external review of RSSAC (Westlake Consulting limited) released at the end of February, 2009 their draft final report, presenting their conclusions and recommendations. The public comment period to this document was opened from the 25 February till the 27 march 2009. The 10 March 2009 the consultants presented the finalized version of their report, changing the order of some sections and modifying the wording of some recommendations in order to enhance comprehensibility of the document.

In order to reflect this change, this public comment period refers now to the finalized version of the report [PDF, 2.56 MB];its deadline has been extended to the 17 April 2009.

All comments that have been or will be received and that refer to the draft version of the report will be interpreted in the context of the finalized version of the report.
