To begin, the error identified in the previous document is corrected in the LGR 6 in terms of the Bengali ঔ (U+0994) being tagged as a consonant is rectified and marked as a vowel. This change of identification from consonant to vowel is accepted in the case of ঔ . The character ঔ (AU) is undoubtedly a vowel in the Bengali (Bangla) orthography.
