The Network Information Center .ukgbni.com ( NIC UKGBNI) of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UKGBNI), hereby submits its opinion to the ICANN community:

1) ICANN staff lacks clarity and greater technical expertise regarding labels for IGOs and INGOs;

2) In order to address rights, it is necessary for ICANN to first present effective actions and criteria for labels in all gTLDs.

Example:

Mercosul/Mercosur is the third largest economic bloc in the world, but only the word "Mercosur" is protected in all gTLDs. The word "Mercosur", written in Portuguese, is not protected, facilitating the emergence of malicious sites, which can use domains such as Mercosul.lat or Mercosul.ong.

3) Labels for intergovernmental or supranational organizations cannot conflict with ccTLD codes.

Example: .au is the ISO 3166-1 aloha 2 ccTLD code for Australia, but the African Union uses the same code for its institutional website (www.au.int).

4) It is necessary to form plural holistic teams, which can meet the needs of different languages and languages, and which are capable of presenting quick responses.

Finally, this contribution is intended to present troubling examples that have been cited above, so that there is good work on the part of ICANN teams.
