At-Large Webinar: Overview on DNS Abuse Mitigation

Tuesday 14 April 2026

Virtual Only

Event Description

You are invited to participate in this At-Large Webinar: Overview on DNS Abuse Mitigation on Tuesday, 14 April 2026 at 13:00 UTC for 75 mins, to discuss and help shape the At-Large agenda in its combat against DNS Abuse.

DNS Abuse mitigation remains as a key focus area for the ALAC[1] and At-Large community. It is generally accepted that DNS Abuse[2] cannot be eliminated. However, it is also clear that it can be mitigated and such mitigation efforts may take many forms and are often driven by various parties either working collaboratively or complementarily to bring about impact to protect end users against harm perpetrated by malicious domain name registrations.

This webinar aims to establish a common understanding of existing roles and processes in support of DNS Abuse mitigation, to inform a discussion on what efforts the ALAC and At-Large community should focus on in this area.
