Public Comment is a vital part of our multistakeholder model. It provides a mechanism for stakeholders to have their opinions and recommendations formally and publicly documented. It is an opportunity for the ICANN community to effect change and improve policies and operations.
As part of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Cultural Office (Dinas Kebudayaan / ꦏꦸꦤ꧀ꦝꦏꦧꦸꦢꦪꦤ꧀), I am very pleased with and fully support the efforts being undertaken by ICANN. I hope that, in the future, the Javanese script (Aksara Jawa / ꦲꦏ꧀ꦱꦫꦗꦮ) can be used more extensively in the digital world, including for writing domain names in non-Latin scripts.
