Public Comment is a vital part of our multistakeholder model. It provides a mechanism for stakeholders to have their opinions and recommendations formally and publicly documented. It is an opportunity for the ICANN community to effect change and improve policies and operations.
I support the development of the LGR for Javanese and Pegon scripts within Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs). This is a positive step toward making the Internet more inclusive by supporting scripts that are important to local languages and cultures.
I also appreciate the effort to ensure that these scripts are implemented in a way that maintains the security and stability of the DNS. In addition, ICANN’s Public Comment process provides a valuable opportunity for community participation and feedback.
Overall, I support the continued development and refinement of the Javanese and Pegon LGRs as part of a more diverse and inclusive Internet.
