Public Comment is a vital part of our multistakeholder model. It provides a mechanism for stakeholders to have their opinions and recommendations formally and publicly documented. It is an opportunity for the ICANN community to effect change and improve policies and operations.

Draft Final Report on Policy Aspects Regarding Introduction of Single Character IDN TLDs

Explanation/Background: The joint ccNSO and GNSO IDN working group (JIG) solicits input from the community on its recommendations regarding the implementation of Single Character IDN TLDs.

After closure of the comment period, the working group will finalize its Report taking into account the public comments and input and then submitted to the ccNSO and GNSO Councils for their consideration. During the public comment period the Working Group will continue its work on the other topics identified by the working group.
