Public Comment is a vital part of our multistakeholder model. It provides a mechanism for stakeholders to have their opinions and recommendations formally and publicly documented. It is an opportunity for the ICANN community to effect change and improve policies and operations.

Purpose: The IDN ccPDP WG 2 is seeking public comment on its draft Final Report [PDF, 321 KB] which includes recommendations on changes to the ICANN Bylaws to include IDN ccTLD's in the ccNSO.
Current Status: The IDN ccPDP Wg 2 is seeking public comment on its draft Final Report which includes recommendations on changes to the ICANN Byalws to include IDN ccTLD's in the ccNSO.
Next Steps:

The WG will closely review all submitted comments to determine, at its reasonable discretion whether to modify its report and it srecommendations. According to its charter the WG is not obligated to include all comments made during the comment period, nor is it obligated to include all comments submitted by any one individual or organization.

The Working expects to formally submit its Final Report to the IDN ccPDP Issue Manager prior to the next ICANN meeting in San Jose, Costa Rica.
