The Finnish Internet Forum is a national multi-stakeholder process which discusses Internet-related issues. Its organizers hold an annual meeting and some smaller events throughout the year. The event has been organized annually since 2010. This year's Finnish Internet Forum will be organized in cooperation with the Parliament's Committee for the Future on 8 October 2025 and will focus on following topics:
– WSIS+20, i.e. the 20-year follow-up of the UN Information Society Summit, which this year leads to significant solutions regarding the future of the internet management model that has been followed so far, based on the voluntary cooperation of all actors.
– Resilience, i.e. the crisis resistance of the (largely digital) structures and networks on which the functioning of society relies.
– Online harassment in its various forms.
This year's keynote speaker will be Kurt Erik "Kurtis" Lindqvist from Åland, president and CEO of ICANN.
