The Connected Africa Summit 2026 is a landmark event, uniting stakeholders and thought leaders to shape Africa’s digital destiny. This year's agenda blueprint is built around the African Union’s Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa 2020–2030 pillars, policy/regulation, infrastructure, skills, innovation and the continent’s big conversations on trade, innovation, and development.
It also bakes in the practical continental building blocks now in play such as the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Digital Trade Protocol, adopted in February 2024, with annex work continuing into 2025) and the Africa Union (AU) Data Policy Framework for a trusted African data space.
