Schedule for ICANN70 Virtual Community Forum Now Available
LOS ANGELES -
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has released the schedule for the ICANN70 Community Forum, 22-25 March 2021. Initially planned for Cancún, Mexico, the meeting will take place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Registration is required to view the schedule. Details and information about remote participation tools, including interpretation, can be found here. Important note: ICANN70 will be held in the UTC -5 (Chetumal) time zone of Cancún.
ICANN70 is the fourth virtual ICANN Public Meeting. Developed in collaboration among cross-functional ICANN org teams and community groups, the schedule includes sessions designed to advance the community's policy and technical work.
ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a not-for-profit public-benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
