Register for the ICANN Webinar on Work Stream 2 Implementation

10 May 2021

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) organization's Implementation Operations Team will host a webinar on 25 May 2021, providing an update on the implementation of over 100 consensus recommendations contained in the Cross-Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability, Work Stream 2 (WS2) Final Report. Please register in advance to receive details on how to join the webinar.

During this webinar, the newly created Implementation Operations Team will provide an update on progress in addressing the WS2 recommendations, which were adopted by the ICANN Board in November 2019. The list of recommendations is to be addressed by both community organizations and ICANN org. Therefore, the completion of WS2 implementation requires, in many instances, action and collaboration from all three components of ICANN: the community, Board, and org. The Implementation Operations Team welcomes feedback on the proposed roles and responsibilities it has outlined for each party.

The webinar will be held on 25 May 2021 at 15:00 UTC.

Please register in advance to receive details on how to join the webinar.

About ICANN

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
