ICANN79 Schedule Now Available

12 February 2024

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is hosting the ICANN79 Community Forum, 2–7 March 2024 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The schedule for the hybrid event, which will accommodate both in-person and virtual participation, is now available on the ICANN79 Community Forum website.

The meeting will take place during regular working hours in San Juan, Puerto Rico (UTC-4/Atlantic Standard Time). In-person attendees must register by 29 February 2024. Virtual participants can register through 7 March 2024.

ICANN is committed to ensuring that all community members, whether in person or remote have the opportunity to participate. For individuals who are not able to travel to the meeting, various remote participation options are available to allow everyone to engage in the discussions.

There will be ample opportunities to network and collaborate during the ICANN79 Community Forum. Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of them to meet with colleagues and make new connections.

To prepare for ICANN79, join Prep Week from 20–22 February 2024.

Note: Registration for ICANN79 does not automatically create a user account on ICANN's meetings schedule platform Sched. You will still need to log in to your previous account or sign up for a new account. Learn how to use Sched and personalize your schedule or export the meeting's entire event schedule.

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
