ICANN Request for Proposal: Interpretation Equipment and Technical Support

3 June 2025

Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify provider(s) to supply interpretation equipment as well as the corresponding technical support related to that equipment to ICANN. The services shall be provided remotely from the supplier's location and on site during the three annual ICANN Public Meetings, various regional meetings, and other meetings as required.

The selected provider(s) will be responsible for supplying and shipping a predetermined list of high-quality equipment and labor for setup to designated locations across the globe, as well as working on site with their own interpretation technicians to support and assist during the various meetings.

Interpreters are not part of the scope of this RFP because all interpreters are supplied by ICANN. Read the RFP Overview for more details, including the required equipment list and the RFP timeline.

Indications of interest should be emailed to [email protected]. Proposals should be electronically submitted using ICANN's sourcing tool by 23:59 UTC on 11 July 2025. Access to this tool may be requested via the same email.

About ICANN

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
