The Deletes Task Force of the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) has posted its Initial Report. The report contains policy recommendations concerning:
- uniform deletion practice after domain name expiry by registrars;
- registrar deletion practice after domain name expiry for domain names subject to a pending UDRP dispute; and
- deletion following a complaint on WHOIS accuracy.
Public comment on the report is invited. They should be submitted by e-mail to <comments-deletes@gnso.icann.org> no later than 3 March 2003. Comments will be archived here.
