ICANN Strategic and Operating Plan Process
ICANN produces a three-year Strategic Plan (reviewed and updated annually) and an annual Operating Plan.
The planning year is made up of two parts:
- The Strategic Plan is developed with the community between July and December.
- The Operating Plan is developed with the community between January and June.
Status:
The approved Strategic Plan 2010-2013 has been posted along with letters from the CEO and President of the ICANN Board. Translations are underway and will be posted in the near future.
The Framework of the FY11 Operating Plan and Budget has been posted for public comment and will be updated in the next 3 months, synthesizing the community input, and posted as a draft Operating Plan and Budget in May.
