The Registries Stakeholder Group (RySG) appreciates the opportunity to provide feedback on the Proposed Fundamental Bylaws Amendments Related to Grant Program.
The RySG considers that this more narrowly scoped Bylaws amendment, which restricts access to the RFR and IRP for decisions to approve or not approve an application to the ICANN Grant Program, is an appropriate method for implementing Recommendation 7 of the CCWG-Auction Proceeds. The RySG therefore supports the proposed Bylaws amendment.
The RySG thanks the Board for adopting this change of approach and for its confirmation that the broad Fundamental Bylaws amendment proposed in April will not be pursued.
