Public Comment is a vital part of our multistakeholder model. It provides a mechanism for stakeholders to have their opinions and recommendations formally and publicly documented. It is an opportunity for the ICANN community to effect change and improve policies and operations.

Proposed .AERO Sponsorship Agreement

Explanation: The current .AERO sponsorship agreement was due to expire on 17 December 2006 and was renewed a number of times, similarly to the other proof-of-concept sTLDs, to permit adequate time to satisfactorily conclude the renewal negotiation. ICANN Staff has concluded the negotiation and the proposed agreement may be viewed here [PDF, 56 KB] and the appendices here [PDF, 748 KB].

Public comment is sought on the proposed agreement and appendices. Comments may be submitted via email to aero-renewal-2008@icann.org and viewed at http://forum.icann.org/lists/aero-renewal-2008/.
