From my vantage point the text of the Charter looks adequately robust and consistent with the ICANN & NPOC mission that I see no problems with the wording. NPOC's challenge is with the execution of both its mission and its processes. Mobilizing people around its processes remains the challenge. The membership list is out of date (Example: I tried to resign CSIH as a member of NPOC and NCSG). CSIH merged and no longer exists. I still seem to be on NPOC as the CSIH rep. I applied and was accepted in NCSG as the rep of the Society for the Advancement of Science (SASA). Didn't apply to NPOC but am unsure of SASA status there.). I welcome the efforts to better animate NPOC engagement in ICANN work, especially when it impacts on the wider NPOC mission.
