Summary of Submission

I am writing to express my strong support for the proposed integration of the Javanese script into the Second-Level Reference Label Generation Rules (LGR).

The development of this Reference LGR is a vital step toward achieving true digital inclusivity for the Javanese-speaking community. By establishing a standardized, machine-readable format for the Javanese script, ICANN is facilitating the broader adoption and secure implementation of Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs). This is essential for users, businesses, and organizations that rely on the Javanese script to communicate and conduct business online.

Ensuring that the Javanese script is robustly supported within the ICANN framework helps preserve linguistic diversity in the global domain name system. It provides the necessary clarity for registries to conduct consistent, secure, and stable evaluations of domain name applications. Supporting this script not only aligns with ICANN’s commitment to a multilingual internet but also empowers a significant community to participate more fully in the digital economy using their native script.

I commend the ICANN organization and the dedicated script community experts for their diligent work in developing these technical specifications. I strongly encourage the formal adoption and implementation of the Javanese script Reference LGR as proposed.
