IETF 125 will convene in Shenzhen, China.
For this meeting, ICANN staff will be involved in developing new technical mechanisms for making DNS delegations (the DELEG working group) and working on next generation procedures for how IANA registries are specified in technical standards (the IANABIS working group).
As with each IETF meeting, ICANN staff in Shenzhen will lead and participate in protocol development activities. And IANA staff will be on-site to run the IANA help desk, engage directly with protocol developers, and fulfill liaison responsibilities that facilitate the accurate registration of protocol parameters from draft specifications into official registries.
