On 27 March 2020, ICANN and VeriSign, Inc. agreed to amend the .com Registry Agreement to include (i) updates to seven of the original appendices, and (ii) the addition of Appendix 11. The Registry Agreement, Amendment No. 3, the existing appendices, the updated appendices, and the new appendix may be viewed below.

On 30 June 2023, ICANN and VeriSign, Inc. agreed to amend the Binding Letter of Intent for .COM to also apply to .NET.
