ICANN Publishes Staff Report On First Consultation on Two-Year Planning Process

LOS ANGELES – 2 April 2019 – Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) published the staff report on the Public Comment proceeding of the First Consultation on a Two-Year Planning Process. The proceeding ran from 21 December 2018 to 5 March 2019.

ICANN organization was seeking community input on extending the planning process beyond its current 15-month duration to offer more time for community engagement. However, based on the feedback received, ICANN org will not extend the duration of the planning process.
