Explanation: The current .AERO sponsorship agreement was due to expire on 17 December 2006 and was renewed a number of times, similarly to the other proof-of-concept sTLDs, to permit adequate time to satisfactorily conclude the renewal negotiation. ICANN Staff has concluded the negotiation and the proposed agreement may be viewed here [PDF, 56 KB] and the appendices here [PDF, 748 KB]. Public comment is sought on the proposed agreement and appendices. Comments may be submitted via email to aero-renewal-2008@icann.org and viewed at http://forum.icann.org/lists/aero-renewal-2008/. |
