Call for Proposals to Host 2004 ICANN Meetings

ICANN is actively soliciting proposals from organizations seeking to host the three ICANN meetings scheduled to be held in 2003. The meetings are targeted for the following dates and regions:

• March 2004 - Europe
• June 2004 - Asia
• October/November 2004 - Latin America

The proposal to host the June 2003 ICANN meeting, which was received from the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA), is posted on ICANN's web site as follows:

• Main Proposal
• Annex A (countries for which visas required)
• Annex B (cities with Canadian visa services)
• Annex C (ICANN request for proposals)
• Annex D (floor diagrams)

This is an example of a completed proposal accepted by ICANN. It is being posted with the permission of CIRA.

The deadline for proposals for the first two meetings is 31 January 2003. The deadline for proposals to host the October/November 2004 meeting to be held in Latin America is 30 March 2003. Organizations considering submitting a proposal may submit any questions about the specifications or other aspects of the call for proposals at <meeting@icann.org>.
