ICANN Opens Public Comment Period on ICANN Fee Amendment from .TEL

26 April 2007

On 13 April 2007, ICANN received the attached communication from Alan Price, Director at Telnic Limited (see, http://www.icann.org/correspondence/price-to-pritz-13apr07.pdf) requesting an amendment to the .TEL registry agreement (see, http://icann.org/tlds/agreements/tel). Telnic has suggested language identical to the pricing terms in the 13 March 2007 amended .MOBI Registry Agreement (see, http://icann.org/tlds/agreements/mobi/registry-agmt-amend1-mobi-01jan07.htm). The amendment language created a fee cap of $0.75 per transaction. If approved by the ICANN Board, the amendment would change the amount of fees paid by Telnic to ICANN.

Comments on the proposed amendment can be posted to tel-tld-amendment@icann.org no later than 5:00 PM PDT, 25 May 2007, and be viewed at http://forum.icann.org/lists/tel-tld-amendment.
