등록기관 인가: 적용 계약 및 정책

아래의 계약 및 정책은 ICANN, gTLD 등록기구 운영자, 등록명 보유자 및 등록기관의 재판매업체 등과 등록기관 간의 관계에 적용됩니다.

  • 등록기관 인가 계약서(RAA): ICANN과 인가 받은 등록기관의 관계 및 인가를 유지하는 조건에 적용되는 ICANN과 등록기관 간의 계약입니다.
  • 등록기구-등록기관 계약: 고객에게 제안하려는 각각의 gTLD에 대해 책임 있는 등록기구와 계약을 체결해야 합니다. 계약의 내용은 등록기구마다 다릅니다. 자세한 내용은 직접 등록기구에 문의하시기 바랍니다.
  • 등록기관-등록자 계약: 각 등록기관은 모든 등록명 보유자에게 등록기관과 전자 또는 문서 형식의 등록 계약을 체결하도록 요청합니다. 이 계약은 RAA에 따라 결정된 모든 의무 및 요구 사항을 준수해야 합니다.
  • 재판매업체 계약(해당하는 경우): 서비스 재판매업체와 계약을 체결하는 모든 등록기관은 해당 계약에 RAA 조항 및 합의 정책이 포함되어 있고 해당하는 모든 RAA 의무와 일치하는지 확인해야 합니다.
  • 합의 정책: ICANN과 인가 등록기관 및 gTLD 등록기구 운영자와의 계약은 이해관계자 커뮤니티와 협의하여 개발된 "합의 정책" 및 특별히 언급된 다양한 절차와 일치해야 합니다.

Internationalized Domain Name ,IDN,"IDNs are domain names that include characters used in the local representation of languages that are not written with the twenty-six letters of the basic Latin alphabet ""a-z"". An IDN can contain Latin letters with diacritical marks, as required by many European languages, or may consist of characters from non-Latin scripts such as Arabic or Chinese. Many languages also use other types of digits than the European ""0-9"". The basic Latin alphabet together with the European-Arabic digits are, for the purpose of domain names, termed ""ASCII characters"" (ASCII = American Standard Code for Information Interchange). These are also included in the broader range of ""Unicode characters"" that provides the basis for IDNs. The ""hostname rule"" requires that all domain names of the type under consideration here are stored in the DNS using only the ASCII characters listed above, with the one further addition of the hyphen ""-"". The Unicode form of an IDN therefore requires special encoding before it is entered into the DNS. The following terminology is used when distinguishing between these forms: A domain name consists of a series of ""labels"" (separated by ""dots""). The ASCII form of an IDN label is termed an ""A-label"". All operations defined in the DNS protocol use A-labels exclusively. The Unicode form, which a user expects to be displayed, is termed a ""U-label"". The difference may be illustrated with the Hindi word for ""test"" — परीका — appearing here as a U-label would (in the Devanagari script). A special form of ""ASCII compatible encoding"" (abbreviated ACE) is applied to this to produce the corresponding A-label: xn--11b5bs1di. A domain name that only includes ASCII letters, digits, and hyphens is termed an ""LDH label"". Although the definitions of A-labels and LDH-labels overlap, a name consisting exclusively of LDH labels, such as""icann.org"" is not an IDN."
