New gTLD Customer Service Center Expands to Offer More Services
In anticipation of the opening of the New gTLD application round on 12 January 2012, ICANN is expanding the New gTLD Customer Service Center.
The expansion includes a new, multi-lingual Knowledge Base that offers a range of reference materials. In addition, applicants will be able to communicate with customer service in the 6 UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish). New gTLD Customer Service previously provided support in English only.
The newly created knowledge base will provide access to useful information about the New gTLD Program, including reference materials, clarifying information on evaluation questions and application process, FAQs, and the Applicant Guidebook. The Knowledge Base will be regularly maintained by the New gTLD Customer Service team to ensure that all relevant information is available to the general public.
