validating resolver

A resolver that uses Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC) technology to verify the cryptographic signatures for data it receives from Domain Name System servers.

variant

An Internationalized Domain Name that can be registered in different ways due to variations in the spelling of words in a given language. For example, when registering a Chinese domain name, two versions of a character might exist in simplified and traditional Chinese or 名称 (Míngchēng, or name) and 名稱 (Míngchēng, or name) may be considered variants in Chinese.

variant top-level domains(variant TLDs)

Top-level domain strings resulting from the substitution of one or more characters in a string with variant characters from an Internationalized Domain Name table.
