Subject: Election of ICANN board Seat # 14

Dear John,

This note is pursuant to Bylaws Article VI, section 8.4, which states that the GNSO should give notice of its selection no later than five months after the annual meeting in 2007, which would be 2 April 2008. This note is that formal notice.

The GNSO Council in its meeting on Thursday 27 March 2008, formally ratified the email vote for Board seat 14. The results of the electronic vote were:

Rita Rodin, the only candidate, obtained 19 affirmative votes (comprising a majority of the votes of all the members of the GNSO Council - total 27), 1 vote against 1 abstention, 4 ballots were not returned counting for 6 votes.

Thus Rita Rodin was declared elected to Board seat14, under the ICANN Bylaws, Article X, Section 3, Clause 6.

Best Regards,

Avri Doria

Chair, GNSO Council
